CHARLIE May grabbed a hat-trick as Dolphin hit Market House for six at Redlands.

Following four straight defeats in the Weymouth Sunday Prem-iership, the Park Street outfit were desperate for a change of fortunes and they brushed their opponents aside with relative ease.

May proved a constant threat in the 6-1 victory with his side’s other goals coming from Charlie Kenderdine, Ross Jones and Mark Cheater.

Famous Old Spa also chalked up a half-dozen in the only other fixture to take place in the league.

They won 6-0 against basement boys Bakers Arms to move up to third in the table.

Seven Weymouth Sunday League sides were also involved in Dorset Sunday Intermediate Cup second round ties with four progressing to the quarter-finals.

Aura beat league rivals Radi-pole 6-1 while Lazy Lizard, Moby Dick’s and Alexandra all won away at Broadstone Conserv-ative (3-2), Ferndown Forest (1-0) and Newtown Rovers (5-3) respectively.

Sailors Return lost 4-2 at New Inn Sports and Broadmayne went down 7-1 at home to Poole Wanderers.
