MATT Lucas and Lloyd Spracklen have stood down from the Dorchester Town Community Trust board.

Both made the decision in order to concentrate on their roles within the football club and its youth set-up.

To fill the void left by their departures, the trust has announced that Adele Russell, Richard Coole and Mark Cope have been co-opted on to the board.

Russell, a qualified accountant who runs her own accountancy firm based in Weymouth, replaces Neal Butterworth as treasurer, allowing the latter more time to focus on his job as Magpies’ chairman.

A trust statement said: “Adele, Richard and Mark will no doubt prove to be great additions to the trust board serving our members and we wish them well in their new roles.

“The trust board would like to thank Matt and Lloyd for the work they have done and the contributions they made during their time on the trust board.”

Meanwhile, the trust’s AGM has been arranged for Monday, December 16 in the lounge bar at the Avenue Stadium.

Notice letters and associated nomination forms for election to the trust board will be sent out to all members, either by post or electronically, two weeks prior to the AGM.
