BANBURY UNITED 0 WEYMOUTH 0
THE Terras ended a run of three successive league defeats with a hard-fought draw at play-off chasing Banbury this afternoon.
Veteran keeper Jason Matthews took charge of Weymouth following the sacking of Brendon King and he was delighted with his side's solid display.
The visitors lined up 4-5-1 with Scott Walker at left back and Mark Ford on the left wing and they limited the hosts to very few chances.
Dave Allen, who played in the holding role, went closest to grabbing a winner with a header that struck the crossbar from a corner, while Matthews pulled off a fine save to deny Adeyinka Talabi at the other end.
