MEMBERS of two West Dorset Judo clubs brought back seven medals from the Patchway competition in Bristol.
A number of firsts were achieved by West Dorset students at this event, including a first gold for a very proud Ethan Jones.
It was also a first senior competition for bronze medal winner Ryan Northover, and the first of any kind for senior Bart Modzelewski, who picked up a superb silver.
There was a maiden joint gold for Courtney Smith and her brother Jordan, and it was the first time fighting at the Patchway competition for Cora Northover, who also secured bronze.
All the fighters fought well against competitors from clubs across the West Country, Hampshire and the Midlands.
Training takes place at Dorchester Judo Club, on Sawmills Lane near Tesco, every Tuesday from 6pm-8.30pm.
