James Rowe is eager to secure a move to Weymouth to return to full-time football.

The out of favour Dorchester midfielder featured for the Terras' reserve side in the 4-0 reversal to Yeovil Town at the Wessex Stadium last night alongside seven other trialists.

Rowe knows Weymouth player-manager Jason Tindall from their time at AFC Bournemouth and has been training with the Terras since early last week.

The 19-year-old joined the Magpies from the Cherries in August and is under contract at the Avenue Stadium until the summer of 2008. However, Magpies' manager Mick Jenkins was happy to allow Rowe, who has made six starts in 21 appearances for Dorchester, to play.

"I think he might have instigated it and obviously now is his chance to win a move," said Jenkins. "James has been frustrated by his lack of first team football after coming out of full time football. His performances have dipped since the start of the season and he has struggled physically."
