BOSS Marco Nott and a host of his players return for Balti Sports tomorrow when Swanage Town & Herston are the visitors to Cranford Avenue (3pm) in the Dorset Premier League.

Nott sneaked away from a wedding last Saturday to watch the first half of his side’s home match against Blandford United.

He admitted to Echosport it was tough leaving the action at the interval as he had not missed a Balti game in four years – to his relief Balti won 4-1.

“It was good that the boys got the job done,” he said. “And I knew they were in safe hands with Chris Hicks (Nott’s assistant).

“Andy Nott is back in goal this week and Tom Grattidge is going to start at centre-back with Phil Anderson suspended.

“Our captain Charlie Kenderdine, Charlie May, Simon Proffitt, Josh Houghton and Karl Dean are also all back, and Lewis Ironside has got a chance.”

Meanwhile, Bridport Reserves go in search of back-to-back league wins when they travel to the County Ground to take on Hamworthy United Reserves tomorrow (3pm).

And Bees’ chief Shaun Annetts believes his side are in for a difficult encounter against the Hammers, who have four wins from their opening seven contests.

“This year they (Hamworthy) certainly seem stronger than they have been, the results would indicate that,” he told Echosport.

“We are trying to follow a bit of a youth path and I have heard they are doing the same.

“It will be an interesting game. It will be another tough one but with our last couple of performances we will certainly go into it in a better frame of mind.”

Weymouth Reserves go to Blandford (3pm) looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season.
