PAUL Hammond is looking forward to the visit of second-bottom Minehead in Toolstation Western League Division One tomorrow (3pm).

With the St Mary's Field hoodoo laid to rest and with three excellent performances under their belt confidence is flooding back into the Bees.

And the boss, who hopes to strengthen his side with one or two senior players that were unable to play midweek, is confident they can get a result.

Richard Jackson and Tom Coggins played brilliantly in central midfield against Clyst Rovers but the former is unavailable on Saturday and is likely to be replaced by Jon Ritchie.

"We should have one or two back for Saturday," said Hammond. "Although I know Richard Jackson is not available and one or two others will be missing, so it will be a juggling act again."

"Richard has been one of those consistent players that has always done the right things at the right times," added the gaffer.

"And Tom Coggins in the last two or three games has probably been one of our best players. He just does not stop running.

"He loves Bridport Football Club and is desperate to play in every game and training session that we have."

Coggins' passion has shone through in recent weeks and has been the driving force behind the victories against Larkhall Athletic and Clyst Rovers that have arrested the Bees' slide down the table.

Hammond said: "We beat Larkhall, then came into playing Truro and although we got beaten I was pleased with the players' attitude and the way that we played football.

Martin Peters, Chris Skinner, Callum Ross-Jennins, Josh Burton, Ryan Hayter are all unlikely to appear again this season leaving Hammond with three more games to run the rule over young talent such as Lewis Conning, Aaron Mead, Ben Clarke and Nick Carroll.
