BALTI Sports look to continue their incredibly good start to the season as they get set to take on Hamworthy United Reserves at Weymouth College on Saturday (3pm).

Marco Nott’s side have been in fine form since the opening day of the season, winning 10 straight games – including last weekend’s 3-2 win over Merley Cobham Sports.

Their boss was impressed with their defensive efforts on Saturday but Balti know their firepower up front is their deadliest device.

The strike partnership of Danny Andrews and Ricky Lane have netted 30 times between them this season and they show no sign of slowing up.

Elsewhere in the Dorset Premier League, Bridport Reserves face a tricky test when they travel to Westland Sports, as they look their first win in five games.

The Bees, who have lost two players to Weymouth Reserves in recent weeks, recorded their last success against bottom club Cranborne at the end of September.

Their opponents sit third in the division having won eight of their opening 12 games, leaving them just six points behind leaders Balti.

Dorchester Sports, who currently sit sixth in the standings, are without a fixture this weekend and will enjoy a hard-earned rest.
