DORCHESTER Town fans will get the chance to share their opinions and seek answers from manager Craig Laird when the latest fans’ forum evening is held at the Avenue Stadium.

Magpies’ boss Laird will lead the event, scheduled for 7.30pm on Friday, June 2, and is looking forward to welcoming a large contingent of the Dorchester faithful to the meeting.

“We’d like as many supporters to attend as possible. They’ve all got a lot of say on social media so the forum is their chance to get the answers they want to hear,” Laird told Echosport.

“It’s their opportunity to voice their opinions.

“They should speak freely with us and that helps the relationship between the club and the supporters.”

Laird was full of gratitude for the strength of support shown to his side at the end of last season and cited the Magpies’ fans as a key factor in helping the club avoid the drop.

He added: “The support that the supporters gave us was fantastic – especially over the last few games.

“They helped us get over the line and it made a huge difference, so we have to thank them for that.”
