Two-year deal for Nathan Dorchester Town completed the signing of centre half Nathan Peprah-Annan on a two-year professional contract last night.

The 19-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur academy player joined the squad for training at the club's Chapel Gate training ground in Bournemouth yesterday and finalised details on his move to Dorset.

During his three-year spell at Spurs, Peprah-Annan was capped by the England Under-16 side, despite being born in Ghana and played alongside the likes of rising Premiership stars Micah Richards and Theo Walcott.

He also had a loan period with Leyton Orient and Crystal Palace.

On leaving Tottenham in December 2006, he had extended trials with Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth before eventually signing with Conference North side Kettering Town where he played a key part in their end of season games including both play-off semi-finals against Farsley Celtic.

Brooks was delighted to have secured the services of the seventh full-time professional in the club's ranks.

He said: "I have kept tabs on Nathan since his time at Portsmouth last season, and am really pleased he has agreed to move back south.

"He is strong, aggressive and a fantastic athlete as well as being a very good technical footballer"

Having now signed three defenders and three midfielders in the space of a week, Brooks has now turned his attention to bolstering his attacking line up as well as finding an experienced goalkeeper to compete with Simon Evans for the number one jersey.
