WEYMOUTH have been invited to an elite level tournament due to their success over the summer.
The week-long event will be played at the beginning of December and will feature National League teams of Super 8 and Division One standard (England’s top two tiers).
It will involve six consecutive evenings of matches against teams base either inside or close to the M25.
The teams involved are Essex Trinity, London Polonia (IMKA), Reading, Hertfordshire, and Weymouth.
The Weymouth squad will feature several players with international experience including England juniors Ailsa and Ilona McDonald who also featured at the Weymouth beach classic in July.
Also in the Weymouth squad is Polish middle attack Angelika Sierjiej.
Weymouth will also be looking to recruit elite level players and will be offering trials to several new potential signings.
The team will be coached by Ian Loke.
