TORNADOES celebrated an extraordinary season at their annual trophy night.

Four swimmers stood out, with an exceptional record of success this season.

Josh Frampton and Chloe Burns, racing in the 16 and over and 14 years categories respectively, each won 16 events.

Elsewhere, Lilly Davies and Harry Falconer, both in the 10 years classification, won all 15 events they competed in.

Frampton enjoyed triumphs in the 50, 100, 200, 400 and 1,500m freestyle, the 50, 100 and 200m backstroke, the 50, 100 and 200m butterfly, the 50, 100 and 200m breaststroke and the 100, 200 and 400m individual medley.

Burns took wins in the 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800m freestyle, the 50, 100 and 200m backstroke, the 50 and 100m butterfly, the 50, 100 and 200m breaststroke and the 100, 200 and 400m individual medley.

Davies emerged victorious in the 50, 100, 200 and 400m freestyle, the 50, 100 and 200m backstroke, the 50 and 100m butterfly, the 50, 100 and 200m breaststroke, plus the 100 and 200m individual medley.

Falconer also won the 50, 100, 200 and 400m freestyle, the 50, 100 and 200m backstroke, the 50, 100 and 200m butterfly, the 50, 100 and 200m breaststroke plus the 100 and 200m individual medley.

Club members were treated to music, food, a swimmers' cabaret and a raffle at the event, which was attended by swimmers and family members.

The club passed their thanks on to volunteers behind the scenes, coaches, teachers, the committee, plus the swimmers and their families after their successful campaign.
