WEYMOUTH Sports are facing an injury crisis ahead of tomorrow's clash with Bournemouth University at Cranford Avenue.

Gary Bailey's men returned to winning ways last week with a 1-0 win over Broadmayne but they are well aware that they will face a tougher task against the students, who have been one of this season's surprise packages in the Dorset Senior League.

Bailey said: "We don't know much about the university lads, as they are completely new to Dorset football this season, but going on their results so far they are obviously a useful outfit.

"Therefore we will have to be fully prepared come Saturday. Our injury list seems to be growing on a daily basis at the moment so we are not sure what squad we will have available but whoever plays, we have every confidence that we can play well and get the job done.

"It is a chance for those involved to stake a claim for a regular place and if we play with the same attitude as last week and start taking more of our chances, then we should be okay."

Bournemouth University have only lost once in the league so far this season and are currently third in the table, three points above Sports.
