ROYSTON Davies has warned his Bees that a repeat of their midweek mayhem will surrender maximum points to Keynsham Town in Toolstation Western League Division One tomorrow (3pm).

The Bridport manager looked on in dismay as his troops allowed Hamworthy Recrea-tion to dictate the play in the first half of the Dorset Senior Cup clash on Tuesday night.

And while the visitors were denied twice by the woodwork that night, Davies doesn't expect Keynsham to be so unlucky.

"If we play like we did in the first half the game will be over in 20 minutes," said the Bridport manager.

"In the first half against Hamworthy we were all working hard as individuals," he added, "but only as individuals.

"We told them at half-time that when you close people, and pressure people, we have to do it as a unit.

"There is no good one player running in, them playing round him and then another running in. So it was a question of getting them to work as a unit in the second half and I think we played better."

They certainly did and one man in particular reaped the rewards.

Matt Condliffe scored one and made a second from his left wing-back position to inspire a 2-0 victory and break Hamworthy hearts.

Now the Bees will have to build on their second half performance against tomorrow's hosts or risk a third consecutive away defeat in the league.

The Bees have picked up just one point on their travels since they defeated Roman Glass St George on September 8.

That day Condliffe was again the hero with a last-minute equaliser against Westbury United at Meadow Lane.

Keynsham Town are 10th in the league table at the moment with eight wins from their 17 matches to date.

However, their home record is equally as bad as the Bees' away statistics.

They have won only once, 3-2 over Oldland Abbotonians, and lost four of the eight home fixtures they have played.

Most recently they have gone down 6-1 against Shepton Mallet and 2-1 against Bradford Town leaving them woefully short of confidence in front of their own fans.

Davies will welcome back Chris Senior and Ryan Hayter into his squad for the trip to Crown Field.
