DORCHESTER Town's Pitching In Southern League Premier South match at Sholing has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Boatmen held a pitch inspection this morning and, with standing water on the turf, the fixture was deemed unplayable.
It means Dorchester will likely have to play the fixture on a Tuesday night, with 11 matches still remaining this season.
Dorchester were hoping to go a fourth game unbeaten, with Sholing in 15th compared to Dorchester's 17th. Two points currently separate the sides in what is a significant match in terms of the relegation battle.
Dorchester are next in action at home to Beaconsfield Town on Saturday (3pm).
