EASTON United boss Chris Wilson is ruing his luck after injuries have left him with a depleted squad going into their visit to Moreton tomorrow (3pm).

Rob Maxted, Kieran Howes and Ian Gray are all out with Kyle Fox only 50/50 as United look to continue their unbeaten start to the Dorset Senior League but Wilson says his side have just got to get on with it.

He said: "The key to any teams success is continuity and we keep picking up niggly injuries to prevent this but luckily we have a two-week break after Moreton because Broadmayne pulled out of the league.

"This is the whole point of having a squad though and we have still got quality around and I want to give others the chance to play.

"The squad of 13 or 14 players we've got is very strong and while having all these injuries is a pain, that's football at the end of the day."

Easton are second in the table after last weekend dramatic 4-4 against AC Matravers but Wilson says he has had to address some of his side's defensive frailties.

He said: "Last week we gave away two dreadful goals so I'm looking to strengthen things at the back. I'm talking to Nigel Evans who may feature for us. He been around a while and played for Portland in the Wessex League. He has got bags of experience and could be just the player we are looking for."
