WESTBURY 7 WEYMOUTH 10
WEYMOUTH continued their unbeaten start to the new Dorset & Wilts One South season with a 10-7 triumph at Westbury.
The Seasiders are second in the table with three wins from three and only trail leaders Salisbury on points difference.
A Lian Berry try, which Sam Polley converted, got the visitors off the mark at Westbury, and they extended their lead through Polley's penalty kick.
The home side scored a breakaway try with 20 minutes to go, somewhat against the run of play, but Weymouth held on for victory.
Head coach Barry Ross-Mackenzie said: "It was a pretty good performance from ourselves so I'm reasonably happy because it was a pretty hard game.
"But being coach you're never 100 per cent happy because you always find something to be critical about, and we will work on things in training.
"We've made a good start to the season but most games will be tough."
