JAKE Sibbert has become the youngest ever recipient of a Bowlteach sponsorship certificate worth more than £500.
Each year, Bowltech selects two people from all over the country, including the Channel Islands, to receive sponsorship.
And 12-year-old Sibbert, a member of Weymouth Youth Bowling Club, is the youngest ever person to receive the award after being picked on past achievements in the sport as well as future potential.
The Budmouth Technology College pupil has been a member of the Dorset squad for the last three years and has won two national bronze medals.
His top score is 278 while his future goal is to represent his country in the European and World championships.
