WILLIE Gibson wants to see the Chickens push on for another victory tomorrow when Cranborne visit Weymouth College looking to turnover a 4-1 deficit in the second leg of their Dorset Premier League Cup first round tie.

The former Weymouth defender took charge of United last Saturday in the absence of caretaker-boss Maurice Welch and led the side to a 1-1 draw at Holt United. Welch returns to the dugout tomorrow and Gibson is hoping the players can welcome him back with a good performance.

He said: “Maurice will be taking the squad tomorrow when hopefully the lads will continue the good work they have put in over the last couple of weeks.

“We won the first leg 4-1 but we have still got to keep pushing on for another win because the tie is still not over.

“Cranborne will come here thinking they have nothing to lose and will no doubt attack us from the off and that makes it a little more tricky. However, if we play like we did last week then we should not have any problems.”

Liam Miles is back available for the Chickens but Liam Beads and Dan Welch are still suspended, while Nick Etherington remains sidelined through injury.
