WEYMOUTH manager Matty Hale is working hard to bring in two new loan players to face Maidenhead United at the Wessex Stadium tomorrow (3pm).

Hale has targeted two Exeter City men and hopes that, should the deals be agreed, the paperwork will go through in time for the duo to take on the Magpies.

The Terras’ chief said: “We’re looking at bringing in two loan players and we’re hoping to get everything sorted in time for the Maidenhead game.

“Both players are from Exeter, one’s a striker and the other is a defender.”

Arguably more pressing for Hale is the fight to halt the Terras’ slide of eight games without a win.

Rock-bottom Weymouth have failed to find the net in their last three outings while Maiden-head enter the clash with an impressive 4-0 win over Brom-ley.

However, the two sides shared a 1-1 draw at York Road back in August.

Hale added: “Maidenhead had a good win on Saturday but we should feel confident with the way we played at their place earlier in the season.

“We’ll be going for the three points as we need to start winning points at home to keep us in there with the teams above us.

“We’re all in this together and all we can do is stick together, keep going and do the best we can. We want to get some points though, and give the fans some optimism.”

The Terras though, look set to be without Andy Harris (knee) for another week. Hale said: “Andy is very doubtful still but Kyle Critchell, although still a bit sore, is raring to go and Matt Bound is available.

“Chris Allen wasn’t 100 per cent on Saturday but we’re hoping he’ll be okay, and that goes for Josh Klein-Davies as well.”
