FIRST team captain Jim Ryall and second teamer Matt Lawes each walked away with two trophies from Weymouth Cricket Club’s presentation night.

Ryall was named first team player of the year and also secured the fastest 50, while Lawes won second team performance of the summer and the Andy Evans bowling award.

Andrew Fulton gave the best performance in the first team, while Neil Walton was the third team’s number one player.

James Almond (outstanding colt), Graham Biles (President’s Cup) and Keiron Womble/Will McKay (Sunday Cup) also won trophies.

Dorset League secretary Mike Williams presented Will McKay with a special award for his 160 during the season.

The club enjoyed a title-winning double with John Ryan’s Seconds taking the Division Two title while Bill Trevett led Weymouth to the Sunday League Division Four crown.
