IAN Hutchinson has received a double boost ahead of this afternoon’s local derby against Chippenham Town at the Bob Lucas Stadium with Rob Wolleaston and Ben Gerring both pronouncing themselves fit to feature.

Wolleaston missed Thursday’s 0-0 draw against Brackley due to a swollen knee while Gerring was stretchered off in the clash after being knocked unconscious.

Hutchinson said: “Everyone knows the extra quality Rob brings but it will also be good to have some fresh legs at our disposal.

“I have also spoken to Ben Gerring and he has had no adverse effects from his collision but obviously we will leave the final decision down to him.

“Mark Robinson should also be available but to be honest it is going to be a big ask for all those that played the other night, no matter what age they are, because there has hardly been enough time to recover.

“However, we just have to get on with it and make sure we are as strong as we can be, so we can give the best possible account of ourselves against a team that will want to get back on track after a heavy defeat against Truro City on Tuesday.”

With another game scheduled for next Tuesday against Didcot Town, Hutchinson has admitted he may be forced to tinker with his starting XI.
