A WEYMOUTH XV made up of all ages and abilities produced a fine display in a 48-5 victory over a touring side from Hemel Hempstead.
With Lewis Allan (17) the youngest and David Stone and John Beare (50) the oldest in their side, Weymouth also handed debuts to Shaun Diplock, Rob Dabbs and Andy Baker, who all played superbly.
Diplock was the standout performer as he bagged a hat-trick of tries with the other scorers including Rob Rendell, Les Moon, Dan Bowditch, Rich Polley and Allan.
Weymouth captain Chris Calton said: βIt was a good team performance with great work all round the park and the forwards of Kevin Leatham, Tom Moat, Andy Bowditch, David Oakford and Rich Polley played a great game.β
