ASHLEY Vickers is on the hunt for reinforcements in the wake of Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at high-flying Sutton United.
The Magpies’ manager saw his side make a bright opening at Gander Green Lane, culminating in Kyle Critchell putting the visitors in front.
However, Dorchester’s superiority soon waned and Sutton took full advantage.
Alan Bray profited from a defensive error before second-half substitute Craig Watkins struck twice to secure the Blue Square Bet South spoils.
Vickers believes “crucial positions” must be strengthened but remained tight-lipped on the type of player he is after.
He told Echosport: “We are looking at loans and we will be busy trying to sort something out as crucial positions need to be addressed.
“We will look to change things and see what is available to us.
“We’ll speak to friends and managers to see if they can do us a favour.”
And the county town chief, whose side sit two places above the relegation zone, will be eager to bolster his ranks ahead of Saturday’s visit of current leaders Welling.
