BRENDON King is expecting Havant & Waterlooville to be a very different proposition in tonight’s FA Trophy replay at Westleigh Park (7.45pm).

The Terras’ boss is anticipating a backlash in the third qualifying round tie but still believes his men are capable of springing a surprise.

King, whose side held the Hawks to a goalless draw on Saturday, told Echosport: “Our away form has been pretty decent of late but going to Havant is going to be very hard.

“They have got some really experienced players and they will no doubt want to make amends for the weekend.

“Whether they had a bad day or not, it’s not for me to say but I certainly expect them to be a lot better tonight.

“However, we have given ourselves a chance and we will go there with a lot of belief.

“Normally when underdogs fail to make the most of that first bite at the cherry, they do not get a second chance away from home but if we go there with the same attitude and take the type of opportunities we missed on Saturday we will stand every chance.”

If the Terras win, not only will they bag £4,000 but also a home tie against Eastleigh or Chippenham Town in the first round proper on December 10.

King added: “Whether it is Chippenham or Eastleigh doesn’t really matter because we are not there yet.

“It’s great that we would be at home but before we can even start thinking about that we have to come through tonight first.”

Stephen Reed and Richard Marshallsay will both ret-urn for the Terras this evening.

King said: “Both those two are back from suspension, which certainly increases our options.

“However, no one let us down on Saturday and it is a difficult one whether to bring people back in or keep faith with the same side.

“Those of the sorts of decisions you want as a manager and it is a dilemma we will resolve closer to kick-off.”
