CHRIS Hicks insists his Weymouth Sports side can only get better following last week’s drab draw with Chickerell United Reserves.
The joint-boss was left frustrated by the below-par display after his men had earned an impressive 4-3 win over rivals Upwey & Broadwey the previous weekend.
Tomorrow they host lowly Piddletrenthide United (2pm) and Hicks is targeting an improved show.
He said: “We will look to improve this weekend as we can’t get much worse.
“We’ve got six games left and they’re all at home so it would be nice to put a few results together.
“We’re at home tomorrow so we have no excuses. We have some winnable games coming up but we need to put the effort in.
“Piddletrenthide are a tricky side and they have a lad up front who seems to score in every game, so we will have to keep an eye on him.”
* Chickerell United Reserves travel to Wareham Rangers (2pm).
