Dorchester Under-14s’ sevens team lifted the JP Morgan Cup at Bath.
The county town side won all of their games on the day and delivered a superb demonstration of sevens rugby to convincingly win the final.
The team were lucky enough to be presented with their cup during the half-time break at the Rec as Bath took on Northampton in a Premiership encounter.
This is the first rugby sevens tournament they have played in and even more rewarding a victory as they were only introduced to this faster game just five weeks ago.
As part of their prize the Dorchester youngsters will be invited to Twickenham to watch the finals of the senior sevens competition in the summer.
This is the second trophy picked up this season by the under-14s after they won the 15-a-side County Cup.
They are also scheduled to face Wiltshire in the Two Counties Cup final on April 22.
