KIERON ‘King’ Clewett reigned supreme in North Dorset after a dominant display in the ring.

Opponent Billy Butler knew he was in for a rough ride and Clewett did not disappoint, firing a hard left that shook Butler inside the opening round.

The Dorchester & District ABC member continued in the same vein and it was no surprise to see him emerge victorious.

Club-mates Liam Legg and Angus Dunn both excelled themselves in skills bouts, putting their training into practice, while Tommy McCallon also squeezed in on the act.

On the same card Andrius Parcharevs came to the fore in his bout against Dylan Olivier of Salisbury, looking dangerous as he forced his rival backwards with fierce rights.

Meanwhile, county town duo Storm Look and Travis Walden were both summoned to box on the bill for the Western Counties in their clash with the Southern Counties at Bristol.

The pair gave everything in three gruelling rounds of first-class boxing. Walden thrilled the fans as he exploited gaps in Harry Hodgett’s defence, while Look was able to outbox Michael Seymour in the first round with his straight punching style.

Following their performances, the boxers were presented with a prestigious Western Counties T-shirt each.
