SOUTHSIDE Angels Girls celebrated a fantastic season with a presentation evening at Redlands Sports Centre.

The Angels went the entire season unbeaten in both the Dorset Girls’ League and in the County Cup.

Team manager Marc Day paid tribute to the girls by saying they worked hard to improve their game week in and week out and deserved to enjoy the celebrations.

The evening was very well attended with 150 family and friends packing the venue on the night.

The big winner was Rosie Kirby who collected both the managers’ player and parents’ player of the year awards.

Amy Goodman collected the players’ player award, with Hermione Marston awarded most improved player.

Chairman Mark Allen was delighted with the support the girls received from families and friends and is looking forward to welcoming new players to the club for the coming season.

The Angels have a few spaces left in their squad for any girls in school Years Six to Eight who want to give football a try.

The Angels are a FA Chartered Standard club and have an FA licenced coach at every session.
