CAROLYN Pike has become the Came Down Ladies’ club champion, almost 20 years since she last claimed the title.
Pike has had a busy year, having worked tirelessly in her position as president of the Dorset Ladies’ Golf Association, which has involved a great deal of travelling to the many venues in the south of England where Dorset have been involved in county fixtures.
The Came Down Club Championship was played over 36 holes in dry but windy conditions.
Pike became the new club champion and holder of the Dora Hutchings Scratch Cup with a winning margin of 10 shots.
