Under-14 Division Three
WEYMOUTH WANDERERS 13 LYTCHETT RT 0
WEYMOUTH hit double figures against a plucky Lytchett side at Redlands.
Jack Drummond grabbed Weymouth’s first goal on three minutes after a surging run from Charlie Cox.
The home side did battle hard but James Fisher was always a threat and managed to beat the offside trap to hit a quickfire hat-trick.
Ryan Bates then surged forward on the right and fed Jonny Walbridge who teed up Drummond for Weymouth’s fifth.
Fisher outpaced the away defence to grab Weymouth’s sixth and Will Barton fed Josh Alexander who finished well for number seven.
Dan Cox orchestrated Weymouth’s midfield and set up a delightful move that Drummond finished on half-time.
Weymouth keeper Lewis Hutton had to be alert as Lytchett counter-attacked and Jimbo Mules used his pace and power to control his defence before Jamie Dear lobbed in Weymouth’s ninth.
This was followed by Charlie Williams who struck the 10th and Tom Robinson fired a fine long-range effort for number 11.
Williams slid in the 12th for Weymouth before James Walsh broke with pace to wallop the ball under the keeper and complete the rout.
