Terras go down at Bedworth

First published in Sport

BEDWORTH UNITED 2 (Wesley 39, Piggon 46) WEYMOUTH 0

WEYMOUTH’S desperate search for a change of fortunes goes on following another disappointing defeat at The Oval this afternoon.

The Terras made more than enough chances in this Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division encounter but Bedworth struck either side of the break to condemn Brendon King’s men to a third defeat in four league outings.

Stephen Reed struck a post, Ed Palmer saw a header flash just inches wide and Scott Walker and Dan Smith brought fine saves out of Andrew Kemp. Ultimately though, it was goals from Richard Wesley and Mitchell Piggon that decided matters and the hosts could have had more.

Both scorers also struck the woodwork while Luke Keen saw an effort cleared off the line by Kyle Critchell.

sorry but time for Brendon to go. He's averaged 1.07 points per game during his time in charge which isn't great; and when you consider we had a decent squad last season which has been strenghened this season it makes for poor reading.
Time he accepted his limitations, resigned and allowed the club to move on without having to pay out expensive compensation which it cant afford.
That would be the dignified way to go about things and would be in the best intrests of both parties

I am very sorry but we have exactly the same problems in the team that we had last seasons. Quite simply the defence does not look organised and appears edgy & sloppy Thus we lose games that we might have drawn or even won. Time for a change methinks.

I said it after his appointment, I said it on numerous occasions last season and I've said it far too many times already this season........he isn't up to the job. End of story, full stop.........he isn't good enough. Resign with a little dignity before the inevitable happens and you are sacked!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or will he? I don't think so and I also think he thinks he won't so where is the pressure to get results? There isn't. The only pressure is organising this years Christmas party and the inevitable booze up and aftermath as last year. Isn't it time this club got its reward for all the years of heartache? Biddie........you're a great guy but I don't think you've the bottle to do the right thing. Prove me wrong. PLEASE.
