Dominant Perham in open water swim victory

CHRIS Perham was in dominant mood at the Speedo Open Water Swim Series at Sandbanks.
Three distances are on offer in the six-race competition and no one could touch the youngster in the 1,500m in Poole where he finished 89 seconds ahead of his nearest rival to take the victory.
Perham, who received a medal and a free Speedo wetsuit to mark his success, said: “I was so pleased to finish first as all I really wanted to do was just get a time to train on.
“The fact I then received an award in the post that I had won a Speedo wetsuit was just a fantastic surprise.”
