WEYMOUTH Rowing club are planning to hold inter-club races in Weymouth Bay once a month commencing on Saturday, July 29.
These events will be for all levels of club members including youth, ladies, men’s crews, vets, super vets, social rowers non-squad and improvers.
A club spokesman said: "It is a chance for all to socialise and have fun racing in our home waters.
"This is also a good chance for our newest members to get a taste of gig racing."
The regatta season continues with the Langstone event next weekend where Weymouth hope to hold on to their lead in the Jurassic League.
Bridport follows on Sunday, July 2.
Weymouth will also take part in the round Hayling Island race this coming Sunday.
It is hoped that the club will develop its adventure and endurance rowing as well as enjoying a very busy regatta season.
