WEYMOUTH captain Simon Browne is thankful just to have 11 players on the pitch for tomorrow’s home game with Cerne Valley (1.30pm) after only taking 10 to Shroton last week.
They were beaten by 171 runs in that game and Browne hopes the defeat will spur his side on to victory.
He said: “Cerne are a decent side and they have a young, dangerous bowling attack.
“They gave us a tanking (earlier in the season) but having 11 on the pitch will certainly help us.
“We have more bowling options so that will help as well.
“We will put last week behind us as a team and as a club and try to get another victory at Redlands.
“There are three games left this season and we will make sure that last week doesn’t happen again.”
Dom Webb and Dan Hutchens come back into the team for Weymouth as they look for their fourth win in five games.
