DENIED: Jigar Naik, who was set to captain the Dorset team this evening
DORSET’S scheduled t20 friendly against Somerset this evening has been called off.
The contest, scheduled to take place at North Perrot Cricket Club, has been washed out due to heavy rain with downpours set to continue at the venue throughout the evening.
A post on the Dorset twitter account read: “Sorry to inform you that today's T20 v @SomersetCCC has been called off because of the weather. Great pity for all that have worked so hard.”
