Game abandoned with 35 minutes gone.
The referee had called both captains together and spoken to one if his assistants earlier.
He then spoke to both managers and decided enough was enough.
Losasso gets a free-kick on target but Hayes looking the more dangerous of the two sides.
Discussion between ref and linesman about something, probably the state of the pitch.
Effiong flashes a shot across the face of goal.
0-0 after 27 minutes played.
I think Alan Walker-Harris could do with a wetsuit!
Rain as hard as ever now.
This doesn't really show how much water is on the pitch. #WeAreDorch http://t.co/HcPbHA8Ley— @Ian_Evans 21 January 2014
Still 0-0 after 17 minutes.
A few half chances for Hayes and they did have the ball in the Dorchester net only for Inih Effiong to be ruled offside.
As expected, conditions making it tough but referee seems happy to let the game go for now.
Match has started as the rain continues to belt down.
I wouldn't be surprised if this game didn't make it to 90 minutes.
It's four forkers out on the pitch. Not three!
Just under 10 minutes to go until kick-off and the ground staff are busily trying to do all they can to keep the pitch playable.
Three forkers working on the surface to try and help it cope with the water.
Still tipping down.
Live picture. Puddles already and it's tipping down http://t.co/EGTSXT8U1M— @EddyHYUFC 21 January 2014

Not quite sure how I've been roped into watching @DorchTownFC tonight . Heavy rain and freezing cold. Must be mad!! #supportlocalteams— @steaders2062 21 January 2014
There are two changes to the Magpies' line-up from the one that started Saturday's defeat to Dover.
Manager Phil Simkin brings in Ryan Case for Calvin Brooks at right-back and Jack Twyford replaces Dan Munday.
Brooks and Twyford drop to the bench and Alex Godfrey is among the substitutes as Elliot Ward misses out.
Magpies: Walker-Harris, Case, Colmer, Jermyn (c), Smeeton, Lanahan, Crittenden, Gleeson, Losasso, Byerley, Twyford. Subs: Munday, Way, Tennant, Godfrey, Brooks.
Hayes: Young, Mills, Everitt, Williams, Wassher, Inman (c), Tieku, Merrifield, Effiong, Johnson, Wishart. Subs: Mitchell, English, Gearing, Hippolyte, Ruiz.
Ref: Adrian Quelch (Christchurch)
Well said in today's Echo Mr Heath. New day, new match. Looking forward to it! #WeAreDorch— @Ian_Evans 21 January 2014
Dorch-bound with a couple of mates. So long as the Alfa makes it, we'll be cheering the Magpies on. #WeAreDorch— @Ian_Evans 21 January 2014
Welcome to the Avenue for tonight's match between the Magpies and Hayes & Yeading.
It is lashing down here in Dorchester and it's fair to say the pitch has seen better days, but when you take into consideration all the rain we've had it's not an easy task for the groundsman.
The officials are out on the pitch right now testing the roll of the ball on the sodden surface.
Let's hope we see some action but I'm guessing it won't be pretty.
