BRIDPORT go in search of their third win on the bounce in all competitions as they welcome Cadbury Heath to St Mary’s Field in the Toolstation Western League tonight (7.45pm).

The Bees, fresh from their 2-0 win over Winterbourne United, are in good form at present, having only lost once in their last seven games.

But manager Trevor Senior knows the threat that the 14th-placed Bristol-based side possess, and has earmarked striker Matt Huxley as a potential danger to his troops.

He told Echosport: “They used to be a decent side and Matt Huxley has always scored goals, he is a good goalscorer and he’s always near the top of the charts.

“He is one we have to watch but the way we are playing at the moment we should go into it with some confidence and being at home it would be nice to get three points if we can.”

The Heath suffered a wash-out at the weekend in their scheduled clash with high-flyers Bristol Manor Farm.

A win tonight could see the Bees rise as high as sixth in the league standings.

Bees: Weeks, Condliffe, Clarke, Evans, Stewart, Ry Hayter, Filkins, Richardson, Wise, A Symes, Byerley, Morley, Dovell, J Symes
