DORCHESTER Town and Weymouth have learnt their respective schedules for this season’s Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division campaign.

The Magpies, who finished 17th in the division last term thanks to a strong finish under player-manager Mark Jermyn, will start their season with a home encounter against Histon.

Histon finished just a solitary point behind the Avenue outfit last season.

Meanwhile, Jason Matthews’ Terras, who finished seventh in the league last term after falling agonisingly out of the play-off places, face an away trip to Cambridge City in their season opener. City finished 13th in the league last season.

Both games are set to take place on Saturday, August 8 (3pm) when the league officially gets underway.

The two sides will lock horns with each other in derby action in the division on Monday, August 31 at the Avenue, while the reverse fixture will take place at the Bob Lucas Stadium on Boxing Day.

Following on from that over the ferstive period, Saturday, January 2 sees Weymouth travel to Poole Town, while the Magpies host Bideford at the Avenue.

On the final day of the campaign (Saturday, April 23 2016), the Terras visit Chesham United, while Dorchester are at home against Kettering Town.
