WARREN White is expected to line up for Chickerell United tomorrow as the league leaders do battle with Westland Sports Reserves at the Stalls (3pm).
The Chickens’ striker, who scored 15 league goals from 20 games last term, has been denied the chance to begin his campaign due to suspension.
But Chickerell manager Steve Coward believes one of his key men is ready and raring for his comeback outing.
He told Echosport: “He (White) is chomping at the bit.
“He has done a bit of pre-season and has been training every week and has been very frustrated with not playing games.
“Hopefully he will make a big impact for us on Saturday and he will be eager to get his season underway.
“We still have others to come back as well so we are looking quite strong.”
Chickerell currently top the pile on seven points, four ahead of Westland in seventh.
