DORCHESTER Town’s squad for the 2016/17 campaign is starting to take shape, with four players confirmed to feature for the Avenue outfit this morning.
The Magpies have announced on their official website that Jake Smeeton, Nathan Walker and Matt Oldring have all been retained for next term, and the club have swooped to secure the services of former Weymouth man Ben Wood.
A statement on the Magpies' website said: “Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce that Ben Wood, previously with Bideford, has agreed terms to play for the Magpies next season.
“He has won the Toolstation Western League, the South West Southern League and the Devon St Luke’s Bowl with his previous clubs and has made well over 200 appearances for the Robins.
“We are also delighted to announce that Jake Smeeton, Nathan Walker and Matt Oldring have all agreed terms to play for the Magpies next season.”
