Rolls refutes Kettering speculation

DENIAL: George Rolls DENIAL: George Rolls

GEORGE Rolls has described reports linking him with a possible takeover of Kettering Town as comical.

The ex-Weymouth chairman, whose wife owns the majority shareholding at the Bob Lucas Stadium, told Echosport: “The Rolls family will be staying at Weymouth FC.

“A lot of hard work has been put into getting the club on an even keel over the last two years and the job there is far from completed.”

For full report see tomorrow's Echosport.

In the same way that the majority of Weymouth fans find reports linking his wife Amanda to the position of chairperson at WFC as comical ?

"The Rolls family will be staying at Weymouth ?" I'm wondering if most of the Rolls family could find Weymouth on a map.

After every game he is out of the Car Park in his motor before I can walk out!
Long drive back to Cambridge I suppose.
Notice the wording, "Job there is far from complete" not "Job here" which you might expect from a Weymouth Chairman or spokesperson........
..or whatever we are supposed to call him!

Whatever people think or say, the Rolls family kept the club in existance when there was no visible alternative.
