BRIDPORT manager Adam Fricker is not “overly concerned” by home or away form as his side prepares to visit Brislington in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division tonight (7.45pm).

Fricker’s men have picked up five wins from their past six games, but face a Foxes’ team who have been defeated four times in six games.

And the Bees’ boss is keen to continue a rich vein of form into the clash with the Bristol-based outfit.

He told Echosport: “We’re really delighted with how the lads have been playing. Our anticipation is that once the pitches hopefully firm up we can really get it down and play football.

“We’ve got a really good footballing side, and we’re really happy with how things are. We’re solid in defence and we’re scoring a lot of goals.

“We don’t tend to be overly concerned whether we’re playing away or home. From our perspective we don’t approach anything any differently, we always try and do the same things, so we go up to Brislington in confident mood.”

Commenting on the challenges the Foxes may pose to his side, Fricker was wary of the stature of today’s hosts.

He said: “They’re quite big, strong and physical – a normal Bristol team. They’re below us in the league but they’ve had some decent victories and had some defeats as well.

“With them being at home there will be a good possibility they will be at full strength, so we’ll need to be on it.”

The Bees will miss Leigh Bailey, Louis Rutter and Matt Condliffe with work commitments.
