DORSET captain Chris Park has urged his side to remain focused and secure back-to-back Unicorns Knockout Trophy wins tomorrow, when his troops travel to Sidmouth to face Devon (11am).

With the weather putting pay to their two T20 fixtures scheduled against Hampshire on Thursday, Park is keen for his side to make sure their concentration is fully on the task that lies ahead.

He told Echosport: “It’s the last three years that it’s been rained off which is very frustrating. It was meant to be a bit of a fun day for the club but now we need to switch our focus and the lads are ready.

“We have all got plans and roles in the team and we have set out guidelines of what we expect from our top four batsmen and our top three bowlers, as well as what we want to achieve in the field.

“If we stick to our own individual tasks then I have no doubt that we will continue to win games of cricket. There might be a bit of bad weather around on Sunday so we will need to be switched on.”

The skipper will be without Max Waller, Michael Porter, Tom Hicks and James Hayman but Masoor Khan, Ryan Scott, Matt Carpenter and Lewis McManus, who scored two centuries for Hamp-shire earlier this week, all return.
