DORCHESTER will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Poole last week when they host Sherborne at the Rec tomorrow (1pm).
But the county town side will have to get the job done without skipper Simon Mitchem, who is unavailable for the game.
This means that vice-captain James Dunham is set to lead the side as they bid for their eighth league victory of the season.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Mitchem told Echosport: “James Dunham is going to skipper the side.
“James has played a lot of Premier League cricket and has the experience, there is no worries in him taking over at all.”
He added: “Last week, losing as we did was disappointing. We didn’t put on anywhere near as good a display as we know we are capable of, so this week it’s a chance to put that right.
“Ideally, if we win our next two games, we are right back in the mix.
“We just have to see what happens because there are quite a few games left, we just want to win every game.”
Will McKay, Jack Walklett and Josh Richardson are also set to miss out through injury for the hosts.
n In County Division Three, Dorchester Seconds are set to make the trip to Kingston Lacy.
