DORCHESTER Town boss Mark Jermyn could be forced to change his side’s approach in their trip to Hitchin Town tomorrow (3pm) with a number of his squad expected to be ruled out.

Jermyn himself is set to start a two-game suspension while Charlie Davis remains banned for the away clash against the Canaries, who currently occupy the final play-off spot in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division table.

On the injury front, Neil Martin is still struggling with a hamstring problem, Matt Oldring is nursing his knee and Oakley Hanger was set to be assessed after picking up an ankle concern last weekend.

Speaking ahead of the contest, Jermyn told Echosport: “We are heavily reliant on the players keeping themselves fit and staying injury free. Up until this point of the season there has only been Bradley Tarbuck who has been out through a long-term injury.

“We are probably only three games from getting the majority of the squad back fit again. I think the next couple of weeks could be tough for us.

“We are going to have to box a little bit clever and probably do something that we are reluctant to do.

“I am not going to say we are going to be on the back foot but we will probably be a little more defensive minded than how we have been. Personnel will dictate what shape we will play.”
