MOSTERTON handler Anthony Honeyball outlined debutant Sam Brown as “one for the future” as he scored a bumper success at Wincanton.
A classy ride from jockey Noel Fehily meant the five-year-old, who is owned and bred by Tim and Monica Frost, got home by one-and-a-quarter lengths ahead of second-placed Lalor.
And trainer Honeyball believes there is a lot more to come from the youngster.
Posting on his official website, the Dorset trainer said: “The result was a great triumph for his owner/breeder Tim Frost who has always had faith in him.
“We do like Sam Brown and think he is one for the future.
"Although he was not blowing hard afterwards he will probably not run again for six or eight weeks. We’ll look for another ordinary bumper where he can carry a penalty.”
