THREE under-14 golfers have represented Weymouth Golf Club in the Peter Alliss Trophy.
Tom Bastow, Toby Trott and Jack Kerslake took part for Weymouth, competing in four events around the county with the top 16 competing against each other in a matchplay knockout tournament at Ferndown Golf Course.
All three made it to the finals, with Trott and Kerslake meeting each other as the final two on Sunday afternoon, where Kerslake came out triumphant.
Weymouth has one of the smallest junior sections of all the Dorset golf clubs but has been very successful in junior inter-club knockout competition, with current junior captain Alex Johnston is the current under-14 southwest Champion.
n Elsewhere, the Weymouth Ladies played their first cup match of the year, the Wilson Cup. Maria Woodham narrowly beat Gill Bucke on countback, both ladies scoring 33 Stableford points.
