WEYMOUTH & Portland go into their second derby in as many games when they host Puddletown at Monmouth Avenue tomorrow (2.30pm).

In the last two meetings between the two Dorset clubs, the Villagers have conceded a total of 174 points and only managed to total five of their own in reply.

However, Weymouth & Portland head coach Paul Harding, whose squad are still aiming to chase down league leaders Yeovil, is taking nothing for granted.

He said: “We treat every team we play with equal respect, it’s a derby and we are expecting a tough game.

“Yeovil are not in my sights yet, I know it’s a well-worn phrase, but we take one game at a time, we have no control over the way Yeovil play so what is the point of devoting time worrying about them when we have to play Puddletown on Satur- day.”

The Weymouth & Portland skipper, lock forward Kevin Leatham, still has a cast on his thumb so he is out of this weekend’s fix- ture.

Hooker James Borrington and wing three-quarter Carl Neal are also both unavailable this weekend.

Harding added: “I have not yet had time to discuss selection with Kevin as he is working in France, so until I do we will not be naming our squad, only to say that competition for selection has become very compet- itive.”

Weymouth & Portland’s Second XV are also playing Puddletown’s second string at Monmouth Avenue.

Elsewhere in Two South, 10th placed Dorchester Seconds, beaten comfortably by Weymouth & Portland last week, will look to bounce back when they travel to Wheatsheaf Cabin Crew.

The Dorchester first team will also look to get back to winning ways when they host Walcot in Southern Counties South (2.30pm).

In South West One East, struggling Swanage & Wareham bid to record their third league victory of the campaign in a crunch clash at Grove (2.15pm).
