WEYMOUTH may have already clinched the Dorset & Wilts One South title but head coach Paul Harding reckons they have some unfinished business to attend to tomorrow.

A 78-0 thrashing of Frome Seconds last weekend – their biggest win of the season – was enough to secure top spot for the Monmouth Avenue outfit.

Tomorrow’s visitors, second-placed Warminster (3pm), can no longer catch Weymouth but Harding is desperate to avenge the 15-14 defeat his side suffered at Folly Lane back in mid-December.

He said: “That was our most disappointing result of the season as we should have won.

“They got a breakaway try towards the end and it was a horrible one to take. Therefore we are especially keen to put that right tomorrow.”

Harding added: “The guys are up for it and they want to sign off in style.

“It will be no fun if we lose the game tomorrow. Although the job is done we are keen to finish the season well and maintain the standards we have set throughout the season.”

Harding, whose men have scored a whopping 155 points in their last two outings, hopes to welcome back prop Tim Comben and scrum-half Craig Barter, while Gareth Iles is due to return to the bench.

Dorchester hope to play the role of party-poopers tomorrow as they welcome North Dorset to Coburg Road (2.30pm).

Victory for the latter would see them crowned as Southern Counties South champions.

But with the county town still in with a chance of finishing second, head coach Martin Oxland is aiming to spoil the party.

He said: “I’m confident in the team’s ability, the players just need to believe they are good enough to achieve a positive result.”

Bridport also face North Dorset opponents in the form of their second string.

Having returned to winning ways with a 20-10 victory over Bournemouth Thirds last weekend, the Blues will be eyeing a repeat show at Slaughtergate tomorrow (3pm).

The last meeting between the two sides ended 41-7 in favour of Mark Botten’s men.

With no new injury worries, Puddletown will have a full squad available for the Dorset & Wilts Two South encounter with second-placed Oakmeadians Seconds at Meyrick Park (3pm).

Boosted by last weekend’s 54-7 win against North Dorset, the Villagers will be going all out to avenge the 36-10 defeat they experienced at Greenfields earlier in the season and so take a step closer to reaching their goal of a top-three finish.

Meanwhile, fresh from an unlikely, yet superb win at South West One East leaders Maidenhead, Swanage & Wareham play host to sixth-placed Coney Hill (3pm).
